Check these videos out! the moss is desiccation free!
Thank Kyle Doherty for these. Please comment and tell me what you thought about these mosses. It's like rising from the dead! After interviewing Riley Smith I realized that she has played a big role in the lichen project. All of the students who are participating in the lichen project should thank Riley for ALL the work she has done to help us. If you would like to know how she helped us and more about her, read our interview below.
This afternoon I interviewed Dr. Anita Antoninka. Earlier I told you I would write up a post for you to read. I think that it was an amazing experience talking to Dr. Anita Antoninka. If you would like to read our interview please read on.

I'm Lichen It!AuthorHello, I am Michal Swanson. I am a student at Northland Preparatory Academy and I will be blogging about the Lichen project our school is participating in to learn more about climate change over a period of 10 years. I am 13 years old. I transferred from BASIS last September. I LOVE the outdoors, gardening, reading, and science. My favorite color is GREEN. I want to become a biologist or ecologist when I grow up. Science is in my blood. My mother is a Chemist, my uncle a biologist, my aunt a nurse, and my great-grandmother an amazing gardener who can grow just about anything anywhere. I am really interested in microbiology. Last year I did an experiment for the science fair on how oregano oil kills bacteria . I would like to do an oregano oil 2.0 experiment on how oregano oil PREVENTS the growth of bacteria. Lichen is small and very interesting to me and I am ECSTATIC to be writing up posts to share this topic with you. Archives
